Politicians do not fear to comply with this objectives or to be penalized if they do not fulfill any of these. Mettler thinks if the internal market is to be deepened, the EU 2020 strategy needs to differ from the Lisbon Agenda.

Swedish telecommunication gigant Ericsson's net gain reduce 65% as it reached 4.100 million Swedish crowns (401 million euros) in 2009 due to economical crisis, according to the companies report.
The gross gain was about 18.800 million euros, 24 per cent less than it was in 2008.
Ericsson's CEO, Hans Vestberg, stated in a press release that the important drop in the sales in the second half of 2009 was caused by a reduction of expenses in the current operators existing in the market.
